Information related to course placement in mathematics includes the following:
The Department of Mathematics will administer Mathematics
Placement Tests to all incoming students who do not have
college-level credit in mathematics. There are two readiness tests:
algebra and calculus. Readiness test scores will be used for course
placement. Take the readiness test that is most appropriate for
your abilities and/or mathematics course needed for your
major.

Register for the appropriate course based on the Mathematics
Placement Test score. You will be asked to drop any higher level
courses.

Availability of the class is dependent upon enrollment. Please
note that the course will count toward credit totals for financial
aid, but not toward the total credits required for graduation.
These courses are not subject to the tuition cap.
