Tri-College University Registration

NDSU students may register for courses at Minnesota State University Moorhead and Concordia College under the Tri-College agreement according to the following procedures:

  1. Students must observe all registration and academic policies of their home college, including arrangements for withdrawals, drop/adds, pass/fail options, audits, and incomplete grades. Courses may be applied to resident credit requirements only at the institution where they register and pay tuition with one exception: University Studies degree students must complete residency requirements through NDSU courses only.

  2. Students who enroll in Tri-College must use on-site registration in 110 Ceres Hall or complete and submit the Tri-College Registration Form.

  3. Grades earned through the Tri-College are calculated into NDSU grade-point averages.

  4. Students with documented disabilities who wish to register for Tri-College courses and who have transportation or other needs should contact the Disabilities Services Office on their home campus (212 Ceres Hall at NDSU).

  5. Although semester beginning and ending dates are somewhat similar between NDSU and Minnesota State University Moorhead, please note that the breaks during the semester do not necessarily match.

  6. Students must be registered in NDSU coursework before being eligible to enroll in Tri-College courses. See Enrollment Limitations for MSUM and Concordia enrollment below.

NDSU Students taking Tri-College classes may view the NDSU course equivalency of their MSUM or Concordia courses at:

Minnesota State University Moorhead

Enrollment Limitations: NDSU students who wish to enroll in courses at Minnesota State University-Moorhead via Tri-College registration must be concurrently enrolled (in the same term) in at least one degree-credit offered by NDSU, effective spring 2007. This enrollment limitation is not applicable during the summer term.

Concordia College

Enrollment Limitations: Students must be full-time at NDSU to be eligible to enroll in coursework at Concordia College. Students are limited to one course per term and it must be a course that is not available at NDSU at any time.
