Volunteers & Leaders MASTER

North Dakota 4 - H Volunteer Page

The quality of a youth's 4-H experience, to a large extent, depends on the relationship built between the 4-H members and their volunteer leaders. The information on this page will help you learn about 4-H youth development and how to get involved.

4-H is a fun, learn-by-doing, educational program for young people. Its mission is to help youth become self-directed, productive, contributing members of their communities.

Adults and teens who are interested in becoming 4-H volunteers can influence the development of young people in their communities through 4-H clubs. Clubs that are planned and managed by the adults and youth of a community create the most successful 4-H experiences. If you are interested in becoming a 4-H volunteer, please contact your local NDSU Extension office for more information.
