2 p.m. - College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; College of Engineering; College of Human Sciences and Education; and College of Interdisciplinary Studies
Many of the founders of great companies have degrees in the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences? Why? Because our degrees offer great majors and high-level sought after skills.
Although they did not attend NDSU, the following individuals have similar degrees that we offer: Airbnb - Joe Gebbia & Brian Chesky [Visual Arts], HP - Carly Fiorina [Philosophy & History], LinkedIn - Reid Hoffman [Philosophy], PayPal - Peter Thiel (Philosophy), Salesforce - Parker Harris [English], YouTube - Susan Wojcicki [Literature & History].
Here is a great combination:
A degree in one of our programs and an Entrepreneurship minor. This combination can provide you with the knowledge, skills, and desire you need to succeed.
Three Reasons to Come Here:
- Career minded + real skills.
- Best value world-class degree in the region.
- Hands-on research.
During these challenging times we are here to help. If you are thinking of attending one of our programs in the fall of 2021 or spring 2022 we have answers to your questions.
- To chat with a Dept. head or Chair about your major just email me, David Bertolini, Dean AHSS and I will set up a video chat.
- If you would like to visit NDSU and our Programs to help you decide click here.
- If you’re a transfer student who needs help with how their credits will transfer email Linda Fricker, AHSS Academic Advisor.
As a current or former military individual who received 15 or more transferable credits for military training or with and AA/AS degree and wants to complete a 4-year degree may save a semester or more at NDSU if you major in Emergency Management, Political Science, or Criminal Justice.
