NDSU Community Counseling Services

Welcome to NDSU Community Counseling Services (CCS)!  In our clinic, advanced graduate students complete their practicum requirements by providing low-cost counseling services to the community.  Counselor Education faculty members and doctoral students supervise student counselors to ensure the delivery of ethical, culturally-competent, and professional practice.

Services

Whatever your counseling needs are, NDSU Community Counseling Services can help.  NDSU CCS is available for individuals, couples, families, and groups.  We provide our services to people ages four years and older.

Counseling is an excellent way to explore:

  • Relationship challenges
  • Self-awareness/self-care
  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief
  • Other personal/social/emotional issues
Fees

The fees for services are based on a small sliding scale.  However, no client will be refused services based on inability to pay.

Hours

NDSU CCS operates Monday through Thursday from 10:00AM to 7:00PM.  Hours are flexible to accommodate client needs, including evening hours.  NDSU CCS follows the NDSU academic calendar.

Location

Community Counseling Services (CCS) is located at 1230 Albrecht Blvd (Morrill Hall Building).  Parking is available to community clients.  NDSU students are encouraged to use their purchased parking pass.

Clients have access to free parking when receiving services at NDSU CSS.  You can park in the Morrill parking lot, on the West side of the building.  If you are parking before 4:30 pm, you will need to work with your counselor-in-training to obtain a parking pass.  The counselor-in-training will have a printed parking pass available for you at the time of your arrival, which you will place in your car window before entering the building for your session.  You do not need to return this pass at the end of the session, as you will receive a new pass each scheduled session.
