The CAP Center Advisory Council provides advocacy and guidance for the CAP Center and supported projects. Areas for advocacy include: identification of opportunities to realize the mission of the CAP Center, serving as a representative of and to their respective organization(s), and increasing awareness of the CAP Center to potential collaborators. The Advisory Council provides guidance by ensuring the CAP Center activities reflect its mission and the CAP Center activities are responding to public and stakeholder needs. 

Advisory Council members represent a number of diverse partners and stakeholders. Each member serves a three-year term and can serve two consecutive terms. The Advisory Council meets at least once per year.
