mechanical engineering, was a retired lieutenant colonel and served 20 years in the Army in Korea, Vietnam and Germany. He received the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service. He later was a manager for IBM, retiring in 2008. He lived in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
