Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing, worked as a registered nurse for more than 40 years, with over 30 years at Mandan, North Dakota, Hospital in obstetrics, and then in oncology in Renton, Washington. She was a Brownie and 4-H leader and taught Sunday school. She lived in Mandan.
