pharmacy, retired from the Army in 1999 with the rank of major after 20 years of service. During her time in the military, she had assignments in Germany, several U.S. forts, Saudi Arabia and Honduras. She was the first North Dakota woman to be awarded a full four-year Army ROTC scholarship. She lived in Fargo.
