agricultural education, taught in the Perham, Minnesota, schools and advised the local FFA chapter for 35 years. He was inducted into the Perham Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame and Minnesota FFA Hall of Fame. He received the University of Minnesota Impact Award for Distinguished Teaching in 2004, Minnesota Outstanding Agriculture Education Teacher of the year in 2005 and Minnesota Career and Technical Teacher of the Year in 2006. He lived in Perham, Minnesota.
