architectural studies, worked for Harris Sharp Associates, Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked on many local projects and eventually partnered with a colleague to won the firm, rebranded HSA Architects Inc. The firm dissolved in 2004, after which he went to work for the State of Nevada as chief of design and project manager for the Public Works Board until his retirement in 2013. He was an Air Force veteran who lived in Las Vegas.
