Scholarships
Each year, committees of faculty and staff in the college select students for various scholarships. In 2022, we awarded more than $2,5000,000. These scholarships are provided by generous gifts from over 130 different donors.
Scholarship applications for current and incoming College of Engineering students are accepted December 1st through March 1st.
Applications can be completed online.
Be sure to observe the criteria and deadline for each scholarship. It is the student's responsibility to submit the scholarship application and respond to all additional questions posed.
Travel Funding Assistance
Funds may be available through the Dean's office in the College of Engineering for student organization travel related costs.
College of Engineering Recharge Center
The College of Engineering Recharge Center provides service to students for the purpose of education and research. The center has three load frames, two high performance 3D printers and two standard performance 3D printers.

Academic Honesty
The academic community is operated on the basis of honesty, integrity, and fair play. NDSU Policy 335: Code of Academic Responsibility and Conduct applies to cases in which cheating, plagiarism, or other academic misconduct have occurred in an instructional context. Students found guilty of academic misconduct are subject to penalties, up to and possibly including suspension and/or expulsion. Student academic misconduct records are maintained by the Office of Registration and Records. Informational resources about academic honesty for students and instructional staff members can be found at www.ndsu.edu/academichonesty.
All students in the College of Engineering are expected to complete all work with full integrity. Students who are suspected of academic dishonesty may not withdraw from the course in which dishonesty is suspected while the case is under review.
FE Exam
The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam is now given via computer-based testing (CBT). You can take the FE exam at any approved Pearson VUE testing center. Please review the NCEES Examinee Guide prior to starting the exam registration process.
You no longer have to be within two semesters of graduating to take the exam. You may take the exam when you feel you are ready. To register, click here and select ND as your Licensing Board. You will also be required to choose which exam you will be taking (i.e.: FE Civil, FE Mechanical, FE Other Disciplines).
Candidates registering to take the FE exam will be required to pay NCEES directly for all exam-related fees.
