Sigma Lambda Chi is an international construction honor society. SLC membership is by invitation only.
CM&E Student Advisory Board (SAB)
CM&E Student Advisory Board (SAB) is established in 2019 and to (1) provide advising resources to students, (2) promote a positive culture among the students and faculty, and (3) enable communication between the student body and the faculty. The active SAB members are composed of Junior and Senior students with a minimum of two semesters of experience in the programs who have a minimum grade point average of 2.5. The specific objectives of SAB tasks are to:
- Give advice to incoming students
- support system for incoming students
- Promote a new positive culture within the department
- Enhance oral and written skills
- Give students a competitive edge
- Make long lasting personal and professional connections
- Make the programs at NDSU a top recruiting program
- Let the IAC know what students are looking to get out of the department
The past SAB Chairs include Nicholas Jensen and Justin Heimkes. Joseph Halter joseph.halter@ndsu.edu is the current SAB chair who is leading about 10 active advising members.
