June 9-11, 2025
In this 3-day corrosion short course, you will learn basics of corrosion science and engineering, how to characterize corrosion, and practical techniques and strategies on coating/material design and formulation for corrosion performance. You will benefit from the course if your work involves corrosion, protective coatings, polymer/composite materials that protect metals from corrosion. The course is designed with the minimal requirement of chemistry background. Both scientists and engineers would find the course easy to follow.
Schedule
The course begins on Monday, June 9 at 8:00am and ends on Wednesday, June 11 at 5:00pm. Lectures begin each day at 8:00am and continue through 5:00pm.
