In the Computer Science department we believe that the most important donations are those that are likely to make a real difference in the academic lives of the students. That might mean, for example, providing travel funding for a student to attend a national conference, supporting a faculty member who engages students in research, or providing an "extra" stipend for graduate students to complete their master’s or Ph.D. degrees. 

Does your employer match donations?

You or your spouse’s personal contribution to the Computer Science funds may be matched by your employer. Ask your employer for the form. Many corporations match employee donations as their commitment to the community and employees. For example, Microsoft will match donations up to $12,000 per year per employee. Contact your company to see if they match donations. Your generosity has helped build this department and contributed to the student successes.

Do you know about the North Dakota tax credit?

North Dakota taxpayers have a special tax break. Contributions of $5,000 or more to qualified North Dakota endowment funds are eligible for a 40% tax credit. Your $5,000 gift could have a net cost of $2,280. For more details, see NDSU Foundation tax credit information.
