I am from Glendive, Montana and received my B.S. in Fish and Wildlife Ecology Management from Montana State University. I was fortunate enough to gain research experience in Chronic Wasting Disease as an undergraduate. I have experience in extensive field work in T&E species surveys, sensitive species surveys, vegetation surveys,\ and wetland delineations. I am currently working in the GEM-C lab and am going for a M.S. in ECS here at NDSU. My list of hobbies include hiking, fishing, hunting, birding, kayaking, and golfing!

My research is on the coupled dynamics of management, hunting, relatedness, and Chronic Wasting disease in white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) populations. More specifically, utilizing novel genomic resources to evaluate the effectiveness of culling to manage Chronic Wasting Disease in Endemic Areas.
