Academic Units

The NDSU School of Education, housed within the College of Arts & Sciences, is sub-divided into three program areas: Educational and Organizational Leadership, Health Education / Physical Education, and Teacher Education.
 

Educational and Organizational Leadership

The twelve faculty members in the Educational and Organizational Leadership program area are responsible for Master's level programs in both K12-focused Educational Leadership, including the innovative Teacher Leader Academy model that brings educational leadership coursework to a district near you, post-secondary-focused Educational Leadership, and doctoral degrees in Education with foci in Adult and Community Education, Institutional Effectiveness, and Organizational Learning and Leadership!

Health Education / Physical Education

The four faculty members in the Health Education / Physical Education program area are responsible for the undergraduate programs in health and physical education, both of which include options leading to teacher licensure, and the Master's option in Leadership in Physical Education and Sports.

Teacher Education

The twelve faculty members in the Teacher Education program area, along with several additional faculty members with partial appointments in the School of Education are responsible for all undergraduate programs in education as well as several Master's degrees, many of which lead to teacher licensure.
