Loveland Scholarship

Applicants must be properly enrolled at NDSU and will have achieved junior class status or higher at the time of disbursement as well as have had been graduate from a high school in the state of North Dakota, South Dakota or Minnesota with a preference to those whose graduating class was fewer than 100. Recipient has demonstrated experience in leadership and/or service in support of women’s community, and will submit an essay on the topic: “Why I am a Feminist.” Student must also have successfully completed an oral interview conducted by the committee.

Submit a 500-word essay on: Why I am a Feminist

Submit a 250-word essay on: What are your plans for the future, and how do you plan to serve the public?

Provide a list of 1-3 leadership experiences at NDSU that have helped you prepare for your future.

Please provide the contact information of ONE academic references, including name, title, email address and phone number.

If awarded, the recipient must agree to allow the Women and Gender Studies (WGS) Program to maintain contact with the recipient following graduation and to provide the committee with updates on career accomplishments.
