Graduate School Contract

I. Start & End Date/Contract Dates

If you need to deviate from August 16 to May 15 for a 9 month GA contract due to the specific needs of your department, please consult with SAEM to ensure that the timeframe you have in mind will result in the correct payment for the student over the 9 month contract.

II. Pay & Pay Periods

9 month, 10 hours = $6,000
9 month, 15 hours = $9,000
9 month, 20 hours = $12,000
11 month, 15 hours = $11,000
12 month, 10 hours = $8,000
12 month, 15 hours = $12,000
12 month, 20 hours = $16,000

Pay per pay period:
20 hours a week = $666.67
15 hours a week = $500.00
10 hours a week = $333.33

III. Leave of Absence-Emergencies/Illness

If GA is not able to make up these hours during the semester, then a payroll form will be submitted for 'leave without pay'.
