About Space Management
North Dakota State University is a student-focused, land-grant, research University. Campus space is a highly valuable asset that must be managed effectively and efficiently. To help facilitate the effective and efficient use of space, Facilities Management works to provide guidelines that promote effective space utilization.
The goal of space management is to maximize the use of all space that supports the University strategic plan as well as the campus master plan. The University must maintain accurate space inventory to aid in identifying, allocating, assigning, managing and maintaining campus resources. Efficient use of space is important for future planning goals as the University continues to grow.
