Dr. Todd Sirotiak, Associate Professor, has worked in the construction industry for over 25+ years. In addition to several advanced engineering degrees, he also holds an MBA, and over a decade of consulting experience. He has worked with non-profits, sustainability organizations, general and specialty contractors and has enhanced estimating, field techniques, and organizational and managerial development. He has further guided several students on research/technical papers, and is commonly sought out as an expert among his peers.
Due to his focus on industry centered education, Dr. Sirotiak has also taught numerous undergraduate/graduate courses and has helped educate over 1000 students/industry professionals, worked with representatives with entrepreneurial organizations, start-ups, non-profits, and has designed products through to deliverable. His research, publications, teaching, and service contributions have received various awards and recognition.
Dr. Sirotiak has numerous professional certifications, is a licensed professional engineer, and has been recognized, but not limited to, an expert in estimating, management, cost, leadership, coaching, sustainability, value analysis/engineering, education, business strategist, and lean construction. He also holds arguably the most prestigious project management certification in the industry, is active in numerous professional organizations, and has been selected among his peers to serve on various administrative positions (President, Vice President, Boards, etc.).
Furthermore, since Dr. Sirotiak has held past construction executive positions for top 225 Global and top 200 contractors (ENR) and he has led a multitude of contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, designers, departments, non-profits, and other third party stakeholders. Due to his past experience and successes, Dr. Sirotiak has also been continually sought for assistance in both national/global opportunities.
