The President's Council for Diversity, Inclusion and Respect is comprised of faculty, staff, and students that are dedicated to creating and maintaining an open and collegial environment to promote inclusivity and diversity as a cornerstone of education, research, and outreach.
The Council is committed to intentionally recruiting, engaging, including, and supporting students, faculty, staff and administrators from all backgrounds, including but not limited to first-generation students, international students, persons with disabilities, Indigenous communities, veterans, student parents, communities of color, New Americans, LGBTQ+, adult learners, and those who continue to be underrepresented and who remain on the margins. Our commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and respect is critical to serving our communities and our land-grant mission.
