Mary McCannel Gunkelman Award Ceremony

The honor recognizes a student or employee of NDSU who has made the most significant and unselfish contributions to creating a happy environment for the enjoyment of NDSU students. The award was established in 1987 by the late John L. Gunkelman and his family in memory of Mrs. Gunkelman, a 1942 graduate of the NDSU College of Home Economics.  Mary McCannel Gunkelman was dedicated to the principle that a student would be more apt to attain his or her full potential if they were working and living in an enjoyable environment.  She believed the more enjoyable the campus and programs, the better NDSU would be in the future.

The 2016 recipient of this award was announced during a reception on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 3 PM in the NDSU Alumni Center.  Please Congratulate Suzan Wolter on receiving the award this year and for a job well done!

Please, join us for an hour to mingle with other staff members and to see our surroundings in a new way.

Date: December 13, 2011
Times: 10 a.m. OR 2 p.m.
