NDSU is made up of nine colleges and 45 Departments or Schools. The following tools and resources are available to help you find the expertise and/or equipment that you need.
Located within the Office of Research and Creative Activity, the office of Business Development and Industrial Relations is here to provide resources to companies that desire to work with NDSU and to assist in navigating the rules, regulations and policies that often apply to collaborations between the private sector and NDSU
NDSU has partnered with the NDSU Research and Technology Park to provide access to Scholars@NDSU hosted by ProQuest. This site provides free, easy access to search the expertise at NDSU by department, researcher name, or subject.
In another joint effort between NDSU and the NDSU Research and Technology Park, a separate searchable database has been developed that lists research equipment available on our campus. This site was created for businesses, university researchers, students, and others who are interested in specialized equipment and capabilities that are available at NDSU. The initial launch lists equipment with an acquisition cost over $35K. NDSU plans to expand this listing in the future to cover all equipment.
If you prefer a more personal approach or have a complicated request, our staff is here to help. Contact information and staff bios are available on the Contacts page.
NDSU Extension Services was established to create learning partnerships that help adults and youth enhance their lives and communities. This purpose is accomplished through the dissemination of research-based information and the implementation of educational programs geared to the changing needs of North Dakotans. Major program areas include agriculture and natural resources; youth development; family and consumer sciences; and community development and leadership. The NDSU Extension Service is part of a nationwide, university-based educational system that provides research-based educational programs to citizens in all 53 counties and four American Indian reservations in North Dakota. Staff are located on campus and at area and local/county offices.
