Overview
The Learning and Applied Innovation Center (LAIC) collaborates with the university community to provide support in the pursuit of innovation and excellence in teaching and learning with technology. The LAIC supports faculty, staff and students to:
- promote instructional strategies focused on student success using creativity, innovation, and following universal design for learning (UDL) principles.
- work to integrate instruction with technology in order to enable the best possible strategies for teaching and learning.
- offer expertise in instructional design and technology.
- support learning spaces that facilitate faculty-student engagement.
- design, develop and provide resources and workshops for teaching and student learning (multimedia and interactive technologies).
