Fargo, N.D. — Kelly Sassi, assistant professor with a joint appointment in English and education at NDSU, had her research paper, “A Review of the Literature on Pedagogical Approaches to Native American/American Indian Literatures,” published in Applied Social Sciences: Education Sciences by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
Sassi’s research addresses the achievement gap between Native American students and majority white students in the United States and teaching strategies to diminish the gap.
