Thomas Ambrosio, professor of political science, recently published an article, titled “Leadership Succession in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: Regime Survival after Nazarbayev and Karimov,” in the latest issue of the peer-reviewed Journal of Balkan and Near Eastern Studies.
Ambrosio's research interests include the examination of factors associated with the proliferation and stability of authoritarian regimes around the world.
