NDSU graduate student Mary Pearson, who is studying in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, presented her research at the 52nd annual Rocky Mountain Bioengineering Symposium, April 11 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Pearson's research deals with radio-frequency energy and its interaction with DNA molecules. Her presentation received the Contest Chair's Award.
Pearson, who is from Perham and Ottertail, Minnesota, works in the department's Cardiovascular Engineering lab.
