Amy Stichman, assistant professor of practice in the Department of Criminal Justice and Political Science, was notified an article she co-wrote with Jill Gordon of Virginia Commonwealth University was accepted for publication in the International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology.
The article is titled, “The Influence of Rehabilitative and Punishment Ideology on Correctional Officers’ Perceptions of Informal Bases of Power.”
Stichman earned her bachelor's degree at New Mexico State University and her master's and doctoral degrees at the University of Cincinnati.
