Sean Brotherson, NDSU professor and Extension family science specialist, was recently featured in a WalletHub.com story about research regarding working fathers.
The article, "2015's Best and Worst States for Working Dads," was written by WalletHub personal finance writer Richie Bernardo.
In the study, WalletHub analyzed 20 key metrics to examine the work-life balance, health conditions, financial well-being and child-rearing environments for working dads in the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. North Dakota was listed 12th in the study.
Brotherson was asked for comment on four questions, including "What are the biggest issues facing working dads today?" and "How can young fathers find the balance between career and family?"
Brotherson, whose research interests include parenting, fatherhood and home and family relationships, earned his doctorate at Oregon State University.
