NDSU researchers looking at high tech weed control

NDSU agriculture and biosystems engineering (ABEN) researchers are examining how AI technology that identifies weeds can be combined with UAS systems to remotely monitor fields and autonomously eradicate various weed species. The study is a part of a five-year, $5 million project to use precision technology in ag research.
