Kristy Janigo develops clothing lines for major retailer

Kristy Janigo is a 2005 NDSU apparel studies and mass communication graduate. Her job at Target in Minneapolis allows her to develop clothing lines that people see, love and wear.
“I will always think fondly of NDSU and the opportunities my education there has afforded me. I traveled to China this past July and September for product development trips for Target’s “Who What Wear” line. One of the most exciting things about my work is seeing the products that I’ve developed in Target stores around the country, on social media, online and worn by people I encounter in daily life. I would tell students to find your niche or your passion - be curious, organized and punctual.”
