Many NDSU grads launch careers with Sanford Health

Employers in the Fargo area like to hire NDSU graduates. Among them is Sanford Health, which is headquartered in the Dakotas and is one of the largest health system’s in the nation. Work ethic and willingness to grow professionally are qualities Sanford Health appreciates about NDSU graduates.

Sanford Health’s 28,000 employees, including more than 1,300 physicians, make it the largest employer in the Dakotas.

“Some of the top qualities we look for in a potential new employee for Sanford Health are reliability, ability to be flexible, passionate about the kind of work we do here at Sanford, and willingness to learn and grow professionally,” said Angela Christian, Sanford Health Human Resources sourcing supervisor. “We are excited about hiring well-educated, well-rounded individuals, with a variety of technical skills, including a strong cultural fit.” 

Why does Sanford Health hire NDSU graduates? 

“We have always been impressed with NDSU students because of their work ethic and commitment to growing in the workplace,” Christian said. “Several hundred NDSU students complete their clinical or other programs at Sanford to help prepare their future endeavors.”
