New-student welcome The class of 2021 met on Churchill Field Monday morning for its welcome into the NDSU community. They, along with the Gold Star Marching Band, spelled out NDSU for a class photo. Then President Dean Bresciani, Provost Beth Ingram, student body president Mason Wenzel, student body vice president Katie Mastel and incoming freshman Dan Ukkelberg spoke, encouraging them to make the most of their college years. The new students also received graduation tassels to remind them of their goals and sang “The Yellow and The Green” with the BisonArts Singers. Thundar helps with Move-in weekend
New and returning students were welcomed to campus by faculty and staff over the weekend, who assisted with move-in at the residence halls. Thundar even helped with some of the heavy lifting.
Campus gathers for eclipse viewing
The NDSU physics department hosted a viewing for the Aug. 21 solar eclipse. The department provided glasses for safe viewing, and faculty members and students answered questions about the significance of the event.
Master of Accountancy program highly ranked in exam pass rate
NDSU’s Master of Accountancy program was highly ranked by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy in pass rate for the certified public accounting exam. NDSU has a certified public accounting pass rate of 81 percent and is among just 27 schools that offer advanced accounting degrees with pass rates above 80 percent. read more >
