NDSU’s Saddle and Sirloin Club to host 90th Little International

The NDSU Saddle and Sirloin Club will host the 90th Little International Livestock Show Feb. 12-13. Little I is the largest student-sponsored event at NDSU with more than 300 students involved in organizing the show.
More than 300 students are involved in organizing the annual Little International Livestock Show, the largest student-sponsored event at NDSU. Students gain experience promoting the agriculture industry while developing leadership and organizational skills.
Little I features showmanship classes of beef, dairy, sheep and swine, as well as contests for public speaking, equine knowledge and agriculture sales.
Ron Zimprich, a leader in swine industry education from Cooperstown, North Dakota, was selected as Agriculturist of the Year and will be recognized at the Friday Hall of Fame banquet.
Zimprich, has been a member of the North Dakota Pork Producers for 45 years. He was an adviser to the Saddle and Sirloin Club for 24 years.
