Technology fee proposals sought

Action plan proposals for campus projects that improve the quality of education and campus life for students at NDSU through information technology are being received for review by the Technology Fee Advisory Committee. The deadline for submissions for spring semester is Friday, Jan. 10, at 4 p.m.

NDSU's student technology fees fund a broad range of projects designed to improve the IT capabilities and services for the campus community. Proposals specifically addressing innovative uses of IT to improve instruction and student learning are encouraged. The committee seeks proposals that introduce innovative tools for instruction and learning or provide a broad educational appeal to students at NDSU.

A copy of application guidelines, an action plan template and copies of past funded proposals and reports can be found at www.ndsu.edu/tfac/. The action plan form has been revised, so link to the template on this website.

For consideration, deliver a paper copy of the action plan to the committee, c/o Marc Wallman, interim vice president for information technology, Quentin Burdick Building (formerly the IACC) room 206. Additionally, submit an electronic copy of the action plan to rian.nostrum@ndsu.edu by Jan. 10.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
