John Miller, director of the NDSU Division of Fine Arts, and assistant director Bill Law recently presented “Strategic Local Partnerships for Music Schools” at the National Association of Schools of Music National Conference in Seattle.

The presentation, which also featured presenters from the University of Louisville and Oklahoma City University, explored ways for music schools to develop strategic relationships with community and professional arts organizations, as well as partnerships with businesses in the community. The presenters represented schools and communities of varied sizes.
