Feminist activist to speak at NDSU

Feminist author, activist and filmmaker Jennifer Baumgardner is scheduled to give a talk at NDSU as part of the Laurie J. Loveland Symposium series in conjunction with the NDSU Women and Gender Studies program.

Her presentation, "Beyond Beyonce: Activism in the 21st Century," is set for Friday, April 29, at noon in Beckwith Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Baumgardner will discuss how activism is changing with the increased visibility of feminism and what that means for future generations.
