Bromley featured artist at MacNider Art Museum

Kimble Bromley, associate professor with NDSU Visual Arts, is a featured artist at the Urban Landscapes exhibit at the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum in Mason City, Iowa. The exhibit opened in February and runs through May 10.

Focusing on the terrain of urban Chicago, Bromley paints both representational and abstract pieces that capture the heart of the city. The series consists of a series of oil, acrylic and pastel paintings. The works explore space in the inner city and play with the idea of graffiti as art.

Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the MacNider Museum is a non-profit, municipally owned
institution that opened in 1966. Additional information about the exhibit can be found at www.macniderart.org/exhibits.html.
