NDSU student attends Phi Kappa Phi convention

Skylar Wehri, a senior nursing major, represented NDSU’s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi at the honor society’s 44th biennial convention held July 28-30 in Atlanta.

Wehri attended the convention as the chapter's voting delegate.

The convention brought together more than 300 attendees, including chapter officers, board members, headquarters staff and guests from across the nation. The two-day event featured a keynote address from Buck Goldstein, co-author of “Engines of Innovation: The Entrepreneurial University in the 21st Century,” and a plenary address from leadership specialist Lou Heckler.

Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. The society has chapters at more than 300 colleges and universities in North America and the Philippines.

As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
