NDSU Bookstore book-signing events scheduled

The NDSU Bookstore has scheduled two book signings by two NDSU alumni.

Alumnus Robert Dodge is set to discuss his new book, “Catherine Cater: An Elegant Rise Above Race and Gender,” Thursday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Union Prairie Rose room. In his book, Dodge, BA ’67, history, MS ’73, education administration, tells the story of the late Catherine Cater, whose long, inspiring career as a member of the NDSU English department left an indelible mark on the institution. Dodge will be available to sign books following the presentation.

He also is scheduled to sign his book in front to the NDSU Bookstore on Friday, Sept. 30 from 1-5 p.m. Books will be available for sale at both venues.

Longtime Forum sports reporter and NDSU alumnus Jeff Kolpack is scheduled to sign copies of his new book, “Horns Up: Inside the Greatest College Football Dynasty,” Friday, Sept. 30, from 1-5 p.m. in front of the NDSU Bookstore. Kolpack, BS ’87, mass communication, relates how the Bison football program developed into a five-time national champion.
