The Northern Plains Ethics Institute at NDSU is set to hold the third of four panel sessions addressing education, health and healthcare in our communities. The third panel will focus on how to address behavioral health using a community-based approach. The session is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 17, at 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Rourke Art Gallery and Museum, Moorhead.

Panelists are set to include:

• David Olig, owner and operator of Southpointe Pharmacy and Prescription Center Pharmacy

• Ruth Roman, Fargo-Cass Public Health Department director

• David Todd, Fargo police chief

The panel will address the current behavioral health care system, its benefits and costs and begin a conversation about what the community can do to start looking at the delivery of health care services in a different way, as well as figure out how to be involved in this pressing community issue.

Questions from the audience are encouraged.
