NDSU men’s basketball senior student-athlete Dexter Werner is among the nominees for the 2017 Allstate NABC Good Works Team, it was announced Nov. 30 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

The award shines a spotlight on a select group of student-athletes who have shown dedication to community service, leadership and altruism in their communities.

In its fifth year, the team recognizes players at all levels of college basketball who have made outstanding contributions in the areas of volunteerism and civic involvement. The final award recipients will be announced in February.
