Ana Rusness-Petersen, administrative assistant with NDSU Division of Fine Arts, was elected president of the Fargo Moorhead Visual Artists during their annual meeting on Oct. 17. Rusness-Petersen has been on the board for four years and previously held the secretary position.

As an artist, Rusness-Petersen is an active photographer in the Fargo-Moorhead community. She currently has an exhibit at the Moorhead Starbucks located at 906 Holiday Drive.

The mission of the Fargo Moorhead Visual Artists is to promote and support quality visual arts in the Fargo-Moorhead area by educating and encouraging artists and their communities. For more information, go to www.fmva.us.
