Four NDSU men’s basketball players were named to the NABC Honors Court announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on July 17. Jared Samuelson, Chris Quayle, Rocky Kreuser and Tyree Eady earned the academic recognition for the Bison.

Student-athletes must have junior or senior academic standing and a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or higher at the end of the academic year to qualify.

Samuelson owns a 3.68 GPA as a finance major. Quayle also is a finance major, with a 3.49 cumulative GPA. Kreuser is a university studies major with a 3.55 GPA. Eady holds a 3.63 GPA with a major in exercise science.

NDSU was one of 40 Division I schools to receive the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, as the student-athletes on the 2018-19 roster combined for a cumulative 3.11 team GPA.
