NDSU had 89 student-athletes earn 91 spots on the 2018-19 The Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, the league office announced.

In addition, the NDSU men's basketball and men's golf teams captured the league's team academic achievement award. The award is based on the percentage of list-eligible student-athletes on the Commissioner's List.

A total of 632 student-athletes make up the 2018-19 Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, which marked an increase of 94 from a season ago.

In order for a student-athlete to be selected to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, the student-athlete must carry a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA, have used a year of eligibility and completed one academic year at the nominating institution.
