National Records and Information Management Month

April is National Records and Information Management Month. Established in 2002, the month promotes standards and best practices for record keeping and information management and emphasizes the importance of organized records.

Records Management leadership wants to express appreciation for the effort and diligence of the campus community in following the practices and principles that help manage and protect the institution’s records.

Special thanks go to:

·      NDSU’s Unit Records Coordinators, who provide assistance and oversight to faculty, staff and administrators in their units for management and disposal of their records in compliance with federal, state and institutional requirements; and

·      The Records Management Advisory Committee, whose members are responsible for records management policy, standards, guidelines, processes and procedures.
