NDSU sophomore Kelley Johnson was recognized when The Summit League named its Academic All-League Team for the 2020-21 volleyball season. The eight-woman team was announced April 28.

Johnson, who is from Eagan, Minnesota, owns a 4.00 cumulative grade point average as a biological sciences major. She is the setter on the Bison team. 

The team is voted on by the league’s faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors. Student-athletes were chosen for the honor based on their academic and athletic performances this season.

To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30, with at least one full academic year completed at the current institution.
