Basketball ‘Late Show’ scheduled for Oct. 14

The NDSU basketball teams will host the "Late Show" to tip off the men's and women's basketball seasons Friday, Oct. 14, at the Bison Sports Arena. Admission is free and open to the public.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for a social hour, where fans will have a chance to eat with the players. Jimmy John's, Buffalo Wild Wings and Domino's Pizza will provide food samples.

Beginning at 7 p.m., both the men's and women's squads will play intrasquad scrimmages. Other events include a three-point shootout and a slam-dunk contest. The teams also will sign autographs after the event.

The teams open the season with an exhibition doubleheader on Nov. 1. The women's team will play the University of Sioux Falls at 5:30 p.m. and the men will play Minnesota State University Moorhead at 7:30 p.m.
