NDSU Make-A-Wish toy drive scheduled

The NDSU Student-Athlete Advisory Council is set to conduct its annual toy drive this week at three Bison home events. All donations will benefit Make-A-Wish North Dakota.

NDSU student-athletes will be collecting new, unwrapped toys at this week’s basketball games and the indoor track and field season opener. Cash donations also will be accepted.

The collection event schedule is:

• Thursday, Dec. 2 – Men’s Basketball vs. Northland College, 7 p.m.

• Friday, Dec. 3 – Indoor Track and Field Dakota Alumni Classic, 11:30 a.m.

• Saturday, Dec. 4 – Women’s Basketball vs. Bradley, 7 p.m.

The NDSU Student-Athlete Advisory Council, along with First Western Bank and Trust, are scheduled to host a “wish store” for Make-A-Wish families on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.

The wish store will offer an opportunity for families with children involved in the Make-a-Wish program in North Dakota to go holiday shopping for gifts.
